Under floor electrical heating system traps heat by radiation and provides necessary warmth to the room. Traditional radiator systems used convection process for ensuring proper warmth in the room. Under floor electrical heating system is a much better alternative. It is installed beneath the floor. Electric current passes through Heating Cables which lie under the floor. The heat is transferred from the Heating Cables to the floor and the whole floor gets the warm temperature.
Under Floor Heating System Includes The Following:-
Heating Cables are made of Single Core as well as twin core resistance wire conductors. Heating Cables are wrapped with an outer scabbard made from PTFE material. The Heating Mats are made from heating cables by laying heating cables over Fiber Glass Mat. Both, the Heating Cables as well as Heating Mats are versatile and cost-effective.
Features Of Heating Cables:
Heating Cables are wrapped with PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) material which is highly durable and water proof. Heating Cables can bear high temperatures ranging from -60 degree Celsius to +260 degree Celsius. The other characteristics of Heating Cables are following:
Heating Cables are especially developed earthen wires designed with consideration to complete underground safety. Therefore, Heating Cables are suitable for under floor heating. Heating Cables are perfect for the places or rooms which are wet or generally get wet, like bathrooms, etc. Heating Cables are flexible and therefore suitable for installing in small areas like bathroom and kitchen, but for large areas cable mats are preferred.
Installation of under floor heating system is cost effective and has become popular nowadays. However, it is essential that right types of Heating Cables or heating mats are used for the installation of Under Floor Heating Systems. Numerous Floor Heating Cables Manufacturers are out there in the market and one must be very careful to rely on the genuine one.
